While the firm is well known for its aggressive litigation skills and extensive trial work, it is better to settle a case on a client’s terms rather than have a judge or jury decide the outcome. To that end, many cases are resolved before trial at voluntary settlement conferences, often with the assistance of retired judges and other professionals who aid in the settlement process.
